If you give us your email address through the signup box or at checkout, we store that address, the date, the page you were on, and whether you ticked the newsletter consent box.

If you write to us through the contact form, we store your name, email address and message so we can reply.

We do not ask for anything else, and we do not buy or import lists.

To send the Bonsai Journal newsletter, but only if you ticked the consent box. Ticking it is optional and never a condition of buying the guide.

Newsletter emails are sent on the basis of your consent. We keep a record of the exact wording you agreed to and when you agreed to it.

You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any newsletter, or by writing to us through the contact form. Withdrawing consent does not affect emails about an order you have already placed.

Your details are stored in our own database and, for newsletter delivery, may be passed to the email service we use to send letters. They are not sold, rented or shared for anyone else's marketing.

Payments are handled by our checkout provider. We never see or store your card details.

Newsletter subscribers are kept until you unsubscribe, after which we keep a minimal record of the unsubscribe so we do not mail you again.

Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and our records.

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us through the contact page and we will respond within 30 days.
